Being Midwest born and raised, I'm ecstatic to bring our Midwest APIDA community closer together through MAASU!

I enjoy playing guitar, traveling, and getting involved in my communities on campus. I will be serving as the President for the Multicultural Greek Council at the University of Minnesota this upcoming academic year. I look forward to making lasting memories and creating a positive impact in my senior year. I hope to get a dog in the future; maybe a Somayed or Lab.

I did the Fuzhounese rite of passage, which is getting sent back to China as an infant and coming back to the USA for school. Used to be a restaurant kid, until my parents passed the honor to my uncle and his kids.

My name is Thien, and I’m serving as an ECC Membership & Outreach Chair this year. I’m a rising Sophomore training to become a professional pilot at Western Michigan University. My hometown is Boston, and I am liking the Midwest so far! (Even if it is snowy) Some things about myself are that I enjoy aviation, history, and the outdoors! A fun fact about me is that my favorite animal is a penguin!
